To prepare for the performance, Katy Perry’s team commissioned Cong Tri to make two evening dresses. For the medley of Unconditionally and Roar , the singer wore a lilac purple chiffon dress, the highlight being the chest and waist slits. The outfit is based on a model from the Spring Summer 2024 collection released in November.
With Firework , Cong Tri designed her own dress inspired by the lyrics of this song. The two discussed several months before the event took place. The dress has a V-neck cutout, comes with long sleeves and a moderate A-line skirt. The applique technique – Cong Tri’s forte in design – is shown throughout the dress, creating a sparkling effect under the stage lights.
